Every class visits the Media Center once during the six-day cycle. Children may have up to two books out at a time and may exchange books at the beginning and end of every school day regardless of when their class comes to the Media Center. Library skills are taught at every multiage level leading to the senior students using books, encyclopedias, the Internet, newspapers and magazines as information sources. Beginning in second grade all students learn how to search the library's online catalog as well as how to check themselves out at the circulation desk.
